Product Detail
Product Parameters
| Product Description | The 9D9 monoclonal antibody recognizes mouse CTLA-4 (CD152), a 33-kDa CD28-family inhibitory receptor expressed on activated T and B cells. CTLA-4 binds the B7 ligands CD80 and CD86 and delivers negative regulatory signals that control T-cell activation, maintain tolerance, and support normal immune homeostasis. The essential role of CTLA-4 is highlighted by CTLA-4–deficient mice, which develop fatal lymphoproliferation. As a key immune checkpoint, CTLA-4 is a major target in cancer immunotherapy. The 9D9 antibody is widely used for CTLA-4 blockade and has been shown in multiple tumor models to mediate effective in vivo depletion of intratumoral regulatory T cells. |
