| Product Description | The FGK4.5 monoclonal antibody recognizes mouse CD40 (Bp50), a 48-kDa type I transmembrane glycoprotein of the TNFR superfamily. CD40 is broadly expressed on antigen-presenting cells-including dendritic cells, B cells, macrophages, and monocytes-as well as various non-immune cells and tumors. Through engagement with its ligand CD154, CD40 provides key costimulatory signals that drive B-cell activation, differentiation, proliferation, class switching, and dendritic cell maturation. Agonistic CD40 antibodies can activate APCs and enhance anti-tumor T-cell responses. FGK4.5 is an agonistic anti-CD40 antibody that activates CD40+ APCs and can also block CD40–CD154 interactions in vitro and in vivo. |
