| Product Description | The PK136 monoclonal antibody recognizes mouse NK1.1 (CD161b/CD161c, KLRB1, NKR-P1A), a type II membrane glycoprotein with a C-type lectin domain encoded by Klrb1c. NK1.1 functions in NK-cell activation, differentiation, IFN-γ production, and cytotoxic granule release, and is also expressed on a small NK-T cell subset. It is predominantly found as a disulfide-linked homodimer on NK cells. NK1.1 expression is strain-restricted, present in C57BL/6, FVB/N, and NZB mice, but absent in strains such as AKR, BALB/c, CBA/J, C3H, DBA, NOD, SJL, and 129. |
