| Product Description | The 2.43 monoclonal antibody recognizes mouse CD8α, a 34-kDa transmembrane glycoprotein that functions as a co-receptor for the T cell receptor (TCR). CD8 binds class I MHC molecules on antigen-presenting cells and is primarily expressed on cytotoxic T cells, with additional expression on thymocytes, NK cells, and some dendritic cell subsets. CD8 commonly forms an α/β heterodimer but can also exist as an α/α homodimer. The 2.43 antibody is depleting when used in vivo. |
